Enjoy Trail Bike Adventure Rides specialising in fully-guided and supported Cape York Trail Bike Tours. Departing from Cairns, these 8 day off road motor bike tours will take you from the reef to the rainforest, the outback and on to the very northern reaches of our great Australian country. You can expect amazing scenery and some of the best trail bike riding you could possibly ever have dreamed of.
The Cape York wilderness is a world class flora and fauna area for off-road adventures for motorcycles, 4WD vehicles, travellers and nature lovers in general. It has its own unique plants and animals that exist in this region only. It is steeped in history with the first maritime Dutch explorers landing in the 1600’s, the Aboriginal past and present occupation, its white explorers (Edmund Kennedy), gold mining and the settlers that opened up this remote wilderness of far northern Australia. It is still remote in places, yet hospitable enough for those who are willing to navigate the many heavily corrugated dirt roads, creeks, rivers, hills, valleys and remote sites. This region has it all, from the savannah grasslands and mountainous Great Divide, to the many remote beaches, crystal clear streams and wild rivers which make for great fishing.
This is 1,350km of pure adventure! The tour rates include motorcycle hire, qualified guides, a custom built state of the art 4×4 support vehicle, accommodation, all meals, fuel, fishing, camping gear and fishing equipment and flight between Cairns and Bamaga (only drinks are extra). Once you leave Cairns, your only extra expense might be for a cold drink, or a souvenir.
This tour is available April through to November.
