Eliminate boat travel altogether and fly out and back to the Great Barrier Reef located Marine World Platform on Moore Reef on the Outer Barrier Reef! Of course in between enjoying stunning scenic helicopter flights out over the Great Barrier Reef and back, there will be plenty of free time to enjoy your Great Barrier Reef tour with up to 4 hours spent on Marine World's fabulous 'Activity Platform'!
After enjoying the morning at leisure, you will be collected from your Cairns or Northern Beaches’ accommodation and transferred to the heliport in Cairns City. After introductions and a safety briefing, it’s time to commence your scenic flight to the Outer Barrier Reef located Marine World Platform on Moore Reef.
Enjoy a spectacular scenic flight past the rainforest clad coastline, and over one of the greatest natural wonders of the world, the Great Barrier Reef! Your scenic flight will allow for stunning views including the Yarrabah Peninsula, Mission Bay, Fitzroy Island, Sudbury Cay, Elford Reef and Moore Reef!
Your Reef Magic Outer Barrier Reef Tour includes up to 4 hours free time on the platform with included activities such as snorkelling with full use of snorkelling equipment including buoyancy vests supplied, underwater observatory with panoramic viewing windows built into lower 'underwater' level of the platform, semi-submersible submarine tours with full commentary, glass bottom boat tours and a delicious buffet lunch with selection of hot and cold dishes! The platform is stable in the water with plenty of room to enjoy the day’s activities. There's even a sundeck with sun lounges for sunbathing and water entry stairs that lead from the platform, directly out onto the coral bombies of Moore Reef.
After enjoying your day on the Outer Barrier Reef, it’s time to leave the pontoon and travel back to Cairns via helicopter! Fly over the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef via a different route and see imposing reef formations, including white sandy cays and kilometres of individual coral reefs!
Arrive back into Cairns at approximately 3.40pm!

Due to Aviation Weight Restrictions a client’s body and luggage weight must be advised prior to the reservation being confirmed. Should a client advise a weight variance of more than 10%, the right is reserved to charge a 100% cancellation fee.
Child’s Rate Policy
One (1) infant under their 3rd birthday may travel free of charge if seated on a guardian’s lap. A maximum of one infant per helicopter may travel as per CASA regulations. Children 3 years and above pay full fare.
Insurance
The helicopter operator carries full insurance including Public Liability Insurance of $50,000,000.00.
Minimum and maximum passenger numbers
Minimum passenger numbers may apply. Groups larger than 6 passengers may require private charter. Please liaise with Cairns Visitor Centre at time of booking.
Fuel Surcharge
With fluctuations in world oil prices, it may be necessary to apply a fuel surcharge to the ticket price. In such cases any charge will be collected on departure.
