Pro Dive - Scuba Pro 3 Day / 2 Night Liveaboard - Diving & Snorkelling

• 5:45am Complimentary Hotel Transfer service available - Cairns and Northern Beaches
• 6:15am Check-In at Dive Shop, cnr Shields and Sheridan Streets, Cairns.
• 7:00am Depart Cairns for 3-days 2-nights of fantastic diving/snorkelling on Australia's Great Barrier Reef
• 11:00am Your first dive before lunch is on "Petaj Bombie" at Milln Reef - this site is a perfect introduction to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, relaxed and varied
• 12:45pm Lunch is served - Hearty soup with an array of fresh salads, cold meats and bread rolls
• 2.30pm Remaining at Milln Reef, head off and discover more delights at "Petaj", once you have completed your dive the vessel moves on to the next site
• 4:30pm After an afternoon of Snorkelling or relaxing it is time for the 3rd dive, on "Swimming Pools" with its lagoon like features, clear turquoise water, colourful corals and dazzling marine life
• 6.00pm Dinner, the menu changes each trip, however it will be wholesome, hot and of course lots of it. Dessert is served after the night dive
• 7.30pm Your first night dive is on once again at "Swimming Pools", however the reef comes alive, keep a close eye out for our sleeping turtles, bright crustaceans and the occasional reef shark

• 7:00am The vessel moves for an early morning dive. "Whale Bombie" a large coral pinnacle separate from the reef, rising from a depth of 22m breaking at the surface. Splendid Gorgonian Fans, Giant Clams and Bump Headed Parrot fish
• 8:00am After your dive enjoy a hearty breakfast of cereal, fresh fruit, bacon and eggs as well as toast and spreads
• 10:30am After breakfast the vessel moves on to Flynn Reef, and your first dive here is on "Tracy's Bombie", a peninsula jutting out from the Northern end of the reef. "Tracy's" is a very navigable wall dive with sharks resting on the ocean floor, and walls enlivened with an abundance of marine life
• 12:00pm Lunch on the second day is hot pasta with a variety of fresh salads
• 3.00pm After lunch and a snorkel it's time to explore the endless intriguing coral mazes of "Gordons Mooring", excellent visibility, a photographic haven which ends at "Clown Fish City"
• 6.00pm A hot dinner is served before your second night dive
• 7.30pm Being a favourite of most divers, we remain at "Gordons Mooring" for the night dive. At night the mazes close into amazing tunnels that change at every bend. Look out for Brian the turtle, who loves sleeping under the coral ledges in the sand.

• 6:30am The vessel is now moored at "Coral Gardens", a different wall dive with intricate corals climbing the walls, large pelagic fish and schooling Sweet lip endlessly gliding by
• 7:30am A Hot breakfast accompanied with fresh fruit salad, cereals and toast
• 9:00am After breakfast the vessel makes its last move on to either Thetford or Pellowe Reefs, Thetford is renowned for many outlying coral bommies, swim throughs and large fish life. Pellowe, for it's exclusiveness, featuring pristine corals, abundance and diversity of marine life
• 11:00am On your last dive you re-enter at one of the above sites, your Dive Master is able to direct you in a different direction, where the sights are totally different from the last dive. When you surface freshly made sandwiches are served as the vessel heads home for Cairns
• 4.00pm Complimentary accommodation transfers - Cairns and Northern Beaches
• 7.30pm Join fellow passengers and crew at a local restaurant for a farewell dinner if you wish Please note, the above itinerary is a guide only, and the order of sites may change. The captain will always adapt the itinerary to the prevailing weather, tides and currents.

Your PADI Advanced Open Water course will offer up to 11 dives with access to a selection of 19 Outer Barrier Reef located dive sites spread out over four magnificent reefs: Flynn,Thetford, Milln and Pellowe Reef. Diving at different times throughout the day, you will be sure to encounter an amazing diversity of marine life including giant clams, sea turtles, stingrays, reef sharks, an incredible variety of tropical fish inhabiting spectacular coral reef formations with consistent underwater visibility. Night diving will introduce a whole new dimension of nocturnal life to your experience! 

The Advanced PADI Certification Course requires the completion of three core dives, chosen out of: a deep dive, underwater navigation dive and a night dive. You will also get to decide between an additional two elective dives, which can include: a nitrox dive, underwater naturalist dive, peak performance buoyancy dive, a boat dive, or underwater photography dive. Other elective options may be available onboard which you can discuss with your instructor.

For those big on ambition but short on time, if you have completed PADI pool and theory training elsewhere, there is the option for you to to complete your PADI Open Water Referral out on the Great Barrier Reef over the course of a 3 Day - 2 Night liveaboard excursion. Your PADI Open Water Referral will allow you to to participate in up to 9 Dives. The first 4 Dives are PADI Training Dives which will complete your PADI Open Water certification. Once certified, you can enjoy 5 additional recreational dives (as a newly Certified Diver) of which 1 is an exciting night dive (fully guided by your Dive Instructor).

PADI Referral Course Participants will need to have completed their PADI Pool & Theory prior to course commencement and should have their PADI Pool & Theory paperwork completed and signed of by their previous dive school, prior to joining the course.
