Ocean Free - Green Island & Pinnacle Reef - Island Day Tour
Duration: Day Cruise
Departs: Cairns Daily 8.00am
Returns: Cairns 5:30pm

Ocean Free motors out under sail to Green Island daily from Cairns and anchors up at Pinnacle Reef, approximately one kilometer out from the island for up to 4 ½ hours reef and island experience. A delicious luncheon of cold meats, chicken, garden fresh salads, bread rolls is served on arrival. After lunch the friendly crew will conduct snorkeling and dive briefings as well as hand out equipment before beginning guided snorkel tours and diving for the more adventurous. Ocean Free's crew will even allow for 1:1 instruction for the nervous first time Introductory Diver!
Ocean Free’s comfortable tender craft will transfer guests to beautiful Green Island and its Resort; for one, two or (up to) three hours you will have free time to laze and swim from the island’s powder white, sandy beaches, wander along timber boardwalks through Green Island’s lush emerald green rainforest or perhaps enjoy a swim in the Green Island Resort’s large salt water swimming pool. Meet a crocodile or turtle at Marineland Melanesia which is a locally owned and operated aquarium located on the island.
The best thing about a day out on Ocean Free, is that you are offered a myriad of choices and activities to help you enjoy both Great Barrier Reef and a Coral Cay in the one fantastic day!
On the way home Ocean Free will come back into Cairns under the majesty of sail, the boat’s crew will entertain you as well as begin the serving of refreshments, including, Tropical Fruit Platters, Cheese and Biscuits as well as Freshly Baked Cakes and Glass of Wine, which all help to complete a most magical day on the Great Barrier Reef.
This is one of the only Reef and Island excursions available that caters exclusively for a small numbers of guests – so why share the experience with a multitude of passengers when you can be pampered and looked after by a friendly and professional crew willing to offer personal service and special assistance when needed!

Certified Divers will be asked to provide proof of their qualification in the form of a Dive License or Diver's Logbook to the Dive Instructor on the day. For assistance with lost cards, please contact us and we will endeavour to verify your diver rating prior to travelling. We reserve the right to refuse a Certified Dive to anyone who cannot prove their certification.
