The Tour This premium full-day private charter offers a range of options including high wheelbase Mercedes Benz touring vehicles or deluxe 4WD vehicles  catering to a variety of group sizes (from 6 - 14 passengers) departing from Cairns, Cairns Northern Beaches or Port Douglas.  
 
If you are beginning your journey from Cairns or the Northern Beaches, you will venture along the scenic Great Barrier Reef Drive, to Port Douglas. The drive winds along the edge of the Coral Sea and Great Barrier Reef past unspoiled tropical beaches and iconic views. Enjoy a stop at Rex Lookout to enjoy these iconic views of the Great Barrier Reef out over the Coral Sea. For guests that are being picked up from Port Douglas, there is a stop at Flagstaff Hill looking over Port Douglas and the Coral Coast.  
 
From Port Douglas you will journey furthern north to Mossman Gorge, here you will enjoy viewing the crystal-clear cascades over large granite boulders, surrounded by beautiful, lush emeral green rainforest.  Enjoy a guided walk through the Gorge and take the opportunity to enjoy morning tea and perhaps enjoy a swim in the cool, clear waters of the gorge (seasonal, conditions permitting). 

Travel from Mossman Gorge up to the Daintree River! Here you will enoy a one-hour wildlife and crocodile cruise on the Daintree river by a local biologist and run by an Eco Accredited River Cruise Company with commentary. ur experienced interpretive guide is accustomed to the nuances of the river, rain-forest and mangroves and can spot an incredible variety of wildlife that you would not necessarily see on your own. The boat is fitted with the unique 'Croc Cam' to help show passengers the sometime too well camouflaged crocodiles and other wildlife.

Enjoy a delicious a la carte lunch set in a lovely restaurant set in the Rainforest and enjoy tropical fruit talk and tasting before continuing on your journey.

After lunch you will cross the Daintree River on the famous cable ferry and adventure through the Daintree Rainforest to Alexandra Lookout, providing picture-perfect views of where the Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef meet  
 
Venture to Cape Tribulation and take the opportunity to take a walk on Cape Tribulation Beach. This is the most northern point of your day tour adventure, so from here you will begin the journey home, but not before pausing at the Daintree Ice-Cream Company where you can purchase locally made tropical ice-cream (at your own expense). the amazing Daintree National Park, where stop for lunch at the famous Cassowary Restaurant at in the Rainforest. 

After a fun filled day touring the Daintree & Cape Tribulation Rainforest, you will travel back to accommodation with drop offs avaiable at Port Douglas, Northern Beaches and Cairns City accommodation all whilst keeping an eye out for Cassowaries and other Rainforest Fauna along the route.
 
Arrive back at Port Douglas accommodation at approximately 5.30pm in the evening or Cairns Northern Beaches accommodation at approximately 6.00pm or Cairns City accommodation after 6.30pm.
