From the tropical coast, beyond the lush mountain rainforest lays the escarpment country of the Great Dividing Range. Your tour will include accommodation transfers from Cairns & Cairns Northern Beaches accommodation (Port Douglas transfers can be arranged at additional cost), stunning return helicopter scenic flights which will include highlights of the tropical coastline and Great Dividing Range with the opportunity to experience the dramatic visual contrast and a landing on an escarpment on Mount Mulligan.
Arrive at Mount Mulligan Station – a working cattle station rich in Australian and Dreamtime history. Be welcomed by the 18km sandstone ridge that is Mount Mulligan. Larger than Uluru, its majestic beauty showcaseds mother nature at her best. Mined for coal, rushed for gold and farmed for cattle, your Outback experience with include a tour of the old township including its historic cemetery and mine ruins, plus a stop at the historical Tyrconnell Mine. Built in 1876, Tyrconnell was the most famous mine at the centre of the Hodgkinson Goldfield.

Due to Aviation Weight Restrictions a client’s body and luggage weight must be advised prior to the reservation being confirmed. Should a client advise a weight variance of more than 10%, the right is reserved to charge a 100% cancellation fee. Maximum Passenger Weight limits may apply.
Child’s Rate Policy
One (1) infant under their 3rd birthday may travel free of charge if seated on a guardian’s lap. A maximum of one infant per helicopter may travel as per CASA regulations. Children 3 years and above pay full fare.
Insurance
The helicopter operator carries full insurance including Public Liability Insurance of $50,000,000.00.
Minimum and maximum passenger numbers
Minimum passenger numbers may apply. Groups larger than 6 passengers may require private charter. Please liaise with Cairns Visitor Centre at time of booking.
Fuel Surcharge
With fluctuations in world oil prices, it may be necessary to apply a fuel surcharge to the ticket price. In such cases any charge will be collected on departure.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Deposit Non Refundable. Cancellations made 48 to 24 hours prior to the flying will be incurr a 50% cancellation fee. Flights cancelled 24 hours or less prior to travel will incurr a 100% cancellation fee. Travel insurance is recommended.
Conditions of Carriage
The tour operator will not be liable for any loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience arising from, or incidental to, any delay in service, howsoever caused. The tour operator works in conjunction with other tour operators and is not liable for other operator's acts or omissions whether negligent or otherwise. Travel and admissions will be subject to the conditions imposed by these operators, which may limit or exclude liability for personal injury or property damage.
