Deep Sea Divers Den have been operating in Cairns for over 25 years, making them one of the longest established Dive Centers in Cairns. Their training facilities are under one roof which is one of the many reasons they have also earned their PADI 5 star Instructor Development Centre status.
Deep Sea Divers Den’s friendly and personalized service allow them to offer one of the best learn to dive courses available in Cairns. They employ many bilingual PADI diving instructors, courses are currently conducte in English (with foreign language text books and course materials available).
The 4 Day Non Liveaboard Budget PADI Learn to Dive Course option is designed for the traveler who is short of time and wants to learn to dive for the best possible price. This option does not allow for the opportunity to overnight on the reef (as the Live Aboard Courses do), so your own land based accommodation is necessary for this course.
The first 2 days of your course are spent learning the theory behind diving and learning new skills in the safety and comfort of their diver training pool and classroom facilities in Cairns.
This is followed by a 2 separate day excursions, on days 3 and 4 visiting select sites on the Outer Barrier Reef aboard the fast, modern, purpose built catamaran, Aqua Quest.
Each day your will complete the 2 PADI training dives aboard the vessel with lunch included as well as the option to do a little snorkeling.
At the end of each day spent on the Great Barrier Reef you will arrive back into the Cairns' Marlin Marinas at approximately 4.30pm in the afternoon. This leaves course participants plenty of free time in the late afternoon and early evening for to have dinner or catch up with friends and overnight on land at 'own' accommodation - a fantastic alternative for those who are unsure that they will enjoy overnighting on a boat.
On completion of your 4 PADI certification dives you will get the opportunity to do one 'fun dive' (time permitting).
Deep Sea Divers Den's friendly, personalized service from professional Dive Instructors and crew combined with the colourful coral and abundant marine life and warm tropical waters of the Great Barrier Reef, represents one of the best budget 4 Day Non Liveaboard Budget PADI Learn to Dive Course options available from Cairns.
This dive course is ideal for the budget conscious traveler or those with time constraints.
