The TourYour day starts with a complimentary coach pickup from accommodation to be transferred to check in at the Kuranda Scenic Railway Station in Freshwater. Start your journey aboard the Kuranda Scenic Train and meander through pristine rainforest, rugged mountains and cascading waterfalls up along the Kuranda Range as you make your way to the quaint village of Kuranda on the Atherton Tablelands.
Join the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway in Kuranda Village on the return and glide over World Heritage-listed rainforest before descending through the canopy layers and deep into the heart of the lush rainforest. Enjoy two stops along the way as you alight and explore the awe-inspiring Barron Gorge and Falls from a network of boardwalks at varying levels.
Following your Skyrail journey you will be collected from the Caravonica Station and transferred to the helicopter departure lounge at Cairns Heliport. After introductions and a safety briefing you will take to the air for a spectacular 25 minute helicopter flight out over the azure blue waters of the Great Barrier Reef. Sweep over coral gardens and sand cays, and see marine life from high above! Land at the Outer Barrier Reef located helipad where you will be met by your vessel's friendly and professional crew who transfer you to the MV Evolution.
Your experience will included all snorkelling equipment and guided snorkelling tour as well as lunch. Enjoy just under 2 hours at Hastings Reef on the Outer Barrier Reef before enjoying a leisurely cruise back to Cairns with afternoon tea and a complimentary glass of wine served on the return journey.
Arrive back into Cairns Marina at approximately 4.30pm with a complimentary return coach transfer back to accommodation .

Due to Aviation Weight Restrictions a client’s body and luggage weight must be advised prior to the reservation being confirmed. Should a client advise a weight variance of more than 10%, the right is reserved to charge a 100% cancellation fee.110kg Maximum Weight per passenger. If passenger exceeds weight limit, please enquire of rates as two seats may be required and a surcharge will apply.
Child’s Rate Policy
One (1) infant under their 3rd birthday may travel free of charge if seated on a guardian’s lap. A maximum of one infant per helicopter may travel as per CASA regulations. Children 3 years and above pay full fare.
Insurance
The helicopter operator carries full insurance including Public Liability Insurance of $50,000,000.00.
Minimum and maximum passenger numbers
Minimum passenger numbers may apply. Groups larger than 6 passengers may require private charter. Please liaise with Cairns Visitor Centre at time of booking.
Fuel Surcharge
With fluctuations in world oil prices, it may be necessary to apply a fuel surcharge to the ticket price. In such cases any charge will be collected on departure.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Deposit Non Refundable. Cancellations made 48 to 24 hours prior to the flying will be incurr a 50% cancellation fee. Flights cancelled 24 hours or less prior to travel will incurr a 100% cancellation fee. Travel insurance is recommended.
Conditions of Carriage
The tour operator will not be liable for any loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience arising from, or incidental to, any delay in service, howsoever caused. The tour operator works in conjunction with other tour operators and is not liable for other operator's acts or omissions whether negligent or otherwise. Travel and admissions will be subject to the conditions imposed by these operators, which may limit or exclude liability for personal injury or property damage.
Semi Submersible Submarine Tours are subject to weather conditions. Introductory Diving subject to applicants successfully passing a Dive Medical Questionnaire
