The Tour Enjoy two fun filled days exploring the Great Barrier Reef onboard MV Evolution & enjoying highlights of the Rainforest via Kuranda Scenic Train & Skyrail Rainforest Cableway with our 2 day tour package. Your Great Barrier Reef Tour will include Snorkelling, Snorkelling Tours, Semi Submersible Submarine Tour, a BBQ Lunch and a stunning Scenic Helicopter Flight back from the Great Barrier Reef into Cairns!
Your second day will include a visit to Kuranda Village via Kuranda Scenic Train, free time in Kuranda Village with return to Cairns via the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway!
Day 1
Your morning starts with a pickup from accommodation where you will be taken for check in at the Kuranda Scenic Railway Station. Start your journey aboard the Kuranda Scenic Train where you’ll meander through pristine rainforest, rugged mountains and cascading waterfalls to the pretty village of Kuranda on the Tablelands. Spend some free time wandering around the unique township and exploring the markets, enjoy lunch or visit many of the various themed park styled attractions in the village.
Join the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and glide over World Heritage-listed rainforest before descending through the canopy layers and deep into the heart of the lush rainforest. Enjoy two stops along the way as you alight and explore the awe-inspiring Barron Gorge and Barron Falls from a network of boardwalks at varying levels.
Following the Skyrail journey you will be collected from the Caravonica Station and transferred to you accommodation in Cairns via air conditioned coach.
Day 2For an extraordinary day on the Great Barrier Reef, combine your MV Evolution Outer Barrier Reef Cruise with an exhilarating return helicopter flight from the Great Barrier Reef into Cairns Heliport!
Your day starts with a check-in at the Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns at approximately 7.30am. Board the MV Evolution as you travel to the Outer Barrier Reef, travelling time is a quick 90 minutes via high speed catamaran. Spend five hours exploring two stunning Outer Barrier Reef destinations, each offering snorkelers and divers the chance to witness their differing and unique coral formations and diverse marine species.
Your Outer Barrier Reef Day Tour will include an Aussie BBQ lunch and guided snorkelling tours. Guests also have the option to book a coral viewing from the vessel' brand new semi submersible submarine at your second Outer Barrier Reef location (at additional cost).
Introductory Scuba Dives for the novice diver and / or Certified Scuba Dives for the experienced Open Water licenced diver are also available (diving is an optional extra).
On the return, take to the air for a spectacular 25 minute scenic helicopter journey over the magical waters of the Great Barrier Reef. Sweep over coral gardens and sand cays, and see marine life from high above before returning into Cairns at approximately 4.30pm

What to BringDay 1 - For Kuranda Tour, wear light comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for walking. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, camera, and additional spending money for purchase of snacks, drinks and souvenirs.
Day 2 - For Great Barrier Reef Tour, bring small soft sided day bags as luggage space is restricted on helicopter. Dress for the tropics and bring your swim suit & towel, sunglasses, camera, hat, sunscreen and additional spending money for purchase of snacks, drinks and souvenirs.

Due to Aviation Weight Restrictions a client’s body and luggage weight must be advised prior to the reservation being confirmed. Should a client advise a weight variance of more than 10%, the right is reserved to charge a 100% cancellation fee.110kg Maximum Weight per passenger. If passenger exceeds weight limit, please enquire of rates as two seats may be required and a surcharge will apply.
Child’s Rate Policy
One (1) infant under their 3rd birthday may travel free of charge if seated on a guardian’s lap. A maximum of one infant per helicopter may travel as per CASA regulations. Children 3 years and above pay full fare.
Insurance
The helicopter operator carries full insurance including Public Liability Insurance of $50,000,000.00.
Minimum and maximum passenger numbers
Minimum passenger numbers may apply. Groups larger than 6 passengers may require private charter. Please liaise with Cairns Visitor Centre at time of booking.
Fuel Surcharge
With fluctuations in world oil prices, it may be necessary to apply a fuel surcharge to the ticket price. In such cases any charge will be collected on departure.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Deposit Non Refundable. Cancellations made 48 to 24 hours prior to the flying will be incurr a 50% cancellation fee. Flights cancelled 24 hours or less prior to travel will incurr a 100% cancellation fee. Travel insurance is recommended.
Conditions of Carriage
The tour operator will not be liable for any loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience arising from, or incidental to, any delay in service, howsoever caused. The tour operator works in conjunction with other tour operators and is not liable for other operator's acts or omissions whether negligent or otherwise. Travel and admissions will be subject to the conditions imposed by these operators, which may limit or exclude liability for personal injury or property damage.
