Cruising on the fastest vessel to the reef, Silverconic will allow you to enjoy over 5 hours exploring the delights of the Outer Barrier Reef. Silversonic's ride control system ensures your trip is super smooth, even when travelling at speeds of up to 32 knots.
The vessel travels out to Agincourt Ribbon Reefs, here you will have access to exclusive dive and snorkel sites. The vessel will visit 3 different reef sites each day, this means that you can choose 3 certified dives, 2 introductory dives or 3 different adventure snorkel locations. With numerous reef locations available, each site offers a new experience, selected for its unique variety of marine life and corals. In between water activities, relax on the expansive sundecks overlooking the Coral Sea.
Upon departure a gourmet focaccia breakfast is laid out in the saloon for passengers to ensure they have all the energy needed to get them through until lunch is served in the middle part of the day.
The vessels trained marine interpreter will give all passengers a thoroughly informative coral and marine life briefing before conducting a 30-40 minute interactive expedition over shallow reef formations discussing throughout the tour what is observed by the passengers.
At the second reef location for the day lunch is served! Catering includes a delectable smorgasbord providing a range of seafood's, including king prawns and octopus, hot curries, fresh garden and pasta salads and soups to warm the cockles of the soul throughout the winter months.
Even though the vessel is surveyed for 130 passengers, Silversonic will only carry approximately 80 passengers maximum, this ensures; a passenger/staff ratio of at least 1 staff member to every 8 passengers and that passengers enjoy an intimate day and are catered for in every way.
The vessel even has four freshwater showers available onboard, a great asset for passengers wanting to wash off after a salty adventure before the journey home.
