Itinerary:
05.00 am Pick-up at hotel, one hour transfer, pickup times confirmed on booking.
06.30 am Experience the fun & unique sensation of hot air ballooning downunder. Enjoy the picturesque landscape at sunrise, enjoy 30 minutes flying time. Breathe in the wide-open spaces!
08.00 am Return and Landing, balloon pack-up and lots of laughs.
08.30 am Come down to earth and enjoy breakfast at Tjapukai Cultural Park, champagne, fresh juices, eggs & bacon, tropical fruits & a hot and cold buffet is all yours as you relax & look over the Skyrail valley.
09.45am - 10.00am Rainforestation – check in to main office then onto Wildlife park – Crocodiles & Koalas. Then have your photo taken with a Koala.
11.00 am Army Duck departure from main complex.
11.30 am Shuttle Bus departs for Kuranda – Free time in Kuranda Village to shop and have lunch. Market days are Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
02.30 pm Skyrail booked – 1½ hrs to travel to the bottom of the mountain, time for two very worthwhile stops along the way
04.00 pm Your shuttle bus for the City departs from the Skyrail station and will drop you at your accommodation or anywhere else in the city you’d like to request
Your balloon gently floats above the tips of blue gums and paper bark trees, with the wide open spaces of the Tablelands below. Really great 360 degree views. Your Hot Air pilot is very experience and trained to Australia's highest standards. Enjoy the freedom of balloon flying while he looks after your safe and gentle ride. Keep an eye out for kangaroos and some of our unique local wildlife. Binoculars are on board to capture sightings of local birdlife too.
Come back to earth gently then continue the fun by helping us pack up. At breakfast purchase in-flight souvenir photos, t-shirts or caps. After ballooning enjoy the best Hot Aussie breakfast in the region at Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park in air conditioned comfort overlooking rainforest valley views of Skyrail.
