The Tour

Begin your day of discovery with a scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Coast to historic Cooktown. You'll walk where Captain Cook once walked, touch the sand where "Endeavour" was beached, visit Grassy Hill, from where the famous navigator plotted his escape route, and visit the James Cook Historical Museum where you can ponder Cooktown's fascinating history.

Soon we head south passing by the eerie Black Mountains and the quaint Lion's Den Hotel. Now we tackle the rugged 4WD Bloomfield Track heading for Cape Tribulation where we'll walk in the rainforest to see the wondrous and unique plants of this primeval jungle, the oldest rainforest on earth. Here we walk in the wonderous World Heritage Listed rainforest to see flora and fauna of the oldest living rainforests on earth. Now, a cable ferry across the Daintree River and a leisurely drive back to Cairns or Port Douglas ends your day of adventure and fun!
