The Tour
A fascinating day in the World Heritage listed Wet Tropics rainforests of the
Daintree, Cape Tribulation and Mossman Gorge, an area once described by Sir
David Attenborough as -one of the most magical experiences of my life.-
Your day begins travelling alongside the Marlin Coast's idyllic deserted beaches and imposing coastal ranges to the infamous Daintree River. Across the river by cable ferry, and travel on into the primeval jungle, acknowledged as the oldest rainforest one earth. Stop along the way for a freshly baked treat and a steaming pot of coffee or Daintree tea. Totally relaxed, we travel on through the rainforest to Cape Tribulation named by Captain Cook in 1770.
Later, you'll walk the private -Stairway to Paradise- through the rainforest with your naturalist guide to experience more of the intriguing plants and animals of this special and complex ecosystem.
Relax with a delicious tropical BBQ lunch at our exclusive -Riverhouse- rainforest
hideaway before boarding your river boat to cruise on secluded mangrove lined
jungle creeks, an excellent chance to see and photograph crocodiles… in the
wild!
