The Excursion

This is North Queensland's best diving for those that have limited time. Undersea Explorer offers adventure diving trips with a difference, and this expedition is a unique combination of great diving with marine scientists who are there to unlock the wonders of the Barrier Reef.

Dive the beautiful Ribbon Reefs north of Port Douglas including some of Australia's best dive sites: Cod Hole, Challenger Bay, Pixie's Pinnacle, and Steve's Bommie. Enjoy fantastic visibility, discover the diversity of coral gardens, and the overwhelming fish life of the pinnacles found at this part of the Great Barrier Reef.

Under the guidance of Australia's most experienced crew, your dive abilities will be respected. You'll experience the excitement of 4 dives per day, including a night dive and drift dives when possible. Biologists/researchers will give you a series of inspiring presentations helping to connect you with nature. Various research projects will be undertaken between dives, including plankton trapping revealing a hidden world using microscope with video link up.

After this "taste of Undersea" you'll be tempted to join a more adventurous experience - week long expeditions to other remote wilderness areas.
