Sunlover Cruises' daily luxury cruises to Moore Reef offer the ultimate Great Barrier Reef experience for people of all ages. You get approximately four and a half full hours to explore the Outer Barrier Reef from the large, spacious pontoon, so you will have plenty of time to be amazed and inspired by the unsurpassed beauty and splendour of this underwater playground. You'll travel in luxury aboard a modern air-conditioned catamaran, which departs daily from the Reef Fleet Terminal in the very heart of Cairns. You're here to relax, so a special late departure is offered for greater flexibility with your other holiday activities.
This tour is a good choice for the nervous, first time snorkeller or for families with small children who may not be able to snorkel. There are three ‘external’ reef viewing options for those who don’t want to or can’t get wet! Throughout the day there are glass bottom boat tours, semi-submersible sub-marine tours with full commentary as well as the Underwater Theatre (with glass viewing windows looking out onto the Reef), where a Fish Feed is conducted along with an informative Reef Talk. There is also an infant’s swimming enclosure on the side of the pontoon, where Mum or Dad can sit as even the smallest family member can safely enjoy a dip in the warm waters of the Great Barrier Reef! A delicious buffet lunch is served during the course of the day with a choice of hot and cold dishes and including prawns! Morning and afternoon teas are also included in the fares!

Snorkelling demonstration: The Sunlover Cruises' team will offer you a range of tips to maximise your reef adventure. Presented on the lower deck this is ideal whether you are a first timer or just need a refresher.
Reef presentation: A special presentation by reef naturalists while you are enroute to our pontoon will ensure you truly appreciate the wonders of the underwater world you are about to explore.
Semi submersible / Glass Bottom Boat Tours: Departing every 20 minutes from the back of the pontoon, these tours allow you to experience the reef without getting wet.
Touch tank: The marine touch tank introduces you to some of the unique creatures of the reef.
Fish feeding: Before leaving the reef each day, feed the fish from the back of the pontoon. The result is an amazing spectacle that you can view either from the deck or the Underwater Theatre. For environmental reasons, guests are not allowed to feed fish during the day, and this feed is done in accordance with strict Marine Park guidelines.
Snorkelling equipment: All snorkelling equipment is included in your tour, and we recommend you use a buoyancy vest, snorkel with a partner and remain in the designated area at all times. Guided snorkelling tours also available.
Delicious Buffet Lunch: A delicious buffet lunch including fresh prawns, a selection of hot and cold buffet dishes, fresh salads, fruits and breadrolls!
Scenic Helicopter Flights are also available and may be booked onboard at a nominal cost.
