Requirements
- Dive medical to Australian Standard 4005.1 (can be conducted on the first
day of your course)
- No pre-dive experience is necessary, however must be able to swim 200m
and tread water for 10 minutes continuously.
The Diving
Our modern, advanced diving vessel transports you in air conditioned comfort
to the Outer Great Barrier Reef in just over 90 minutes. We offer state-of-the-art
snorkelling equipment.
Ocean Quest ADV caters superbly for both certified and introductory divers. The Ocean Quest ADV Discover Scuba Diving program is your perfect introduction to the reef with pre-dive tuition, close underwater supervision, dive recognition card and certificate included.
Our training facility offers 7 air conditioned classrooms, multilingual instructors,
diver Medical Centre, headed 4m deep diving pool and retail equipment shop.
Dive materials available in 15 different languages. English courses commence
daily. German courses commence on Mondays and Thursdays. Japanese courses commence
on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays.
