Your ‘Heli, Dive & Snorkel package’ will see you visit two Great Barrier Reef locations in one day, and these locations have been carefully selected for the clarity of the water and the abundance and diversity of marine life. Reefs visited are Saxon and Hastings Reefs, chosen for excellent snorkel and dive opportunities with great underwater visibility.

Your first reef location on the day is Saxon Reef; here you will be able to choose either an Introductory Dive or a Certified Dive.

For First Time Introductory Divers; after an in-depth briefing from expert dive staff, gear up and jump in the water for the thrill of a lifetime as you are guided through this amazing wonderland.

For Certified Divers; either buddy up with a friend or join dive guides as you push the limits and explore the amazing ecology of the reef.

Your package will include full gear hire and instruction. You will spend 3 fabulous hours enjoying time at Saxon Reef, after diving activities you are welcome to spend time snorkeling.

After working up an appetite enjoy an Aussie BBQ lunch including steak, sausages, fresh local fish and prawns and fresh salads.

Your second site of the day is at Hastings Reef. Here you will be briefed before being loaded onto your state of the art helicopter for an unforgettable 10 minute scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef. Turtles, sharks and even whales can be spotted from up on high and you will get a feel of the size and formation of this amazing natural wonder from an aerial perspective.

After enjoying your scenic flight you will have the opportunity to enjoy a semi submersible submarine tour, more snorkeling and perhaps you may wish to upgrade to do an additional dive.

Finally, at the end of your day, cruise back to Cairns while enjoying the hilarious antics of ELVIS; Osprey’s resident on-board entertainer as he sings and performs his famous didgeridoo show.

Arrive back into Cairns at approximately 5.00pm into Cairns Marlin Marinas.
