Calypso travels daily to three sites on the outer Great Barrier Reef. Visit spectacular reefs and beautiful coral bombies. Snorkel and dive amongst the amazing marine life. The vessel offers a fast, stable and comfortable ride and offers a large deck area and spacious saloon with plenty of room to stretch out and relax on your voyage out to the reef. The vessel also provides wide stern decks and submersible platform to provide easy access for getting in and out of the water.

The maximum number of passengers carried on each cruise is only 52 passengers. Activities available onboard include snorkelling, introductory SCUBA diving and certified diving or just relaxing onboard.

The experienced crew will provide friendly and professional service, including snorkelling tuition, a guided snorkel tour and interpretive reef talk. The snorkel groups are small and personalised. All professional supervision and tuition are provided, with a comprehensive snorkelling safety brief and guided snorkel tour. Flotation devices and in water assistance are available for all snorkellers. Even if you have never snorkelled before, the crew will assist any nervous snorkelers and non-swimmers, to ensure that they are happy and comfortable snorkelling in the water. No experience is necessary to SCUBA dive. While travelling on Calypso to the reef, your PADI Dive Instructor will take you through a Discover Scuba Diving Brief highlighting all safety procedures and skills. Once at the reef you will practice your skills both on the boat and in the water before being taken on a 30-40 minute dive with your Instructor to explore spectacular coral reefs with abundant marine life.

For Certified Divers we have a great selection of sites where our professional PADI Dive Instructors and Dive Masters will guide you in small groups. Our dive gear includes dive computers and large tanks. You can participate in up to three spectacular dives in one day!
