The Tour

This 6 day motor cycle adventure is designed to surpass all expectations for the ultimate thrill. Stand on the northern tip of Australia, visit WWII crash sites, and ride the infamous Overland Telegraph Track. Visit Twin Falls and Fruit Bat Falls. Enjoy country hospitality at a working cattle property.

Day 1: Depart Cairns at 0830 am and fly to Bamaga at the top of Australia. After being collected by your guide you will lunch at the Loyalty Beach Fishing Lodge. Gear up and ride the latest model hire motorcycles up to Pajinka and walk to the northern most tip of Australia to take photos. Ride on Somerset Beach and visit the old ruins and WWII aircraft. Overnigh accommodation at Loyalty Beach Fishing Lodge.

Day 2: Depart Bamaga and ride south on the Telegraph Track. Along the way you will visit Twin Falls, Fruit Bat Falls and all the great sites of the famous Overland Telegraph Track. Arrive at Bramwell Junction for the night, where there is a hot shower and a hearty meal for you with accommodation in safari tents.

Day 3: Explore further south, riding the Frenchman’s Track, a survey line that was forged in the early 1900's. Crossing the mighty Pascoe River you will experience the outback first hand. Riding through Iron Range traversing rivers and single trails along the way, to arrive at Archer River for the night, again a hot shower and Donga accommodation with air conditioning awaits you.

Day 4: Depart Archer River after a hearty breakfast heading north back to cross the Wenlock River, visit Moreton Telegraph station a relic from our pioneers. Returning back to Bramwell Junction for the next day’s adventure, riding the telegraph track!

Day 5: Depart Bramwell Station and ride north on the telegraph track back to Bamaga. Overnight at Loyalty Beach Lodge.

Day 6: Depart Bamaga and fly back to Cairns via the coast. Arrive in Cairns at approx 13:30 pm.

All accommodation is cabin or tent style accommodation with meals provided by the owner’s on site.

Customised tours can be arranged for individual or groups, and a group discount is available if you have 8 riders or more.

Other options are to Fly Cape York via helicopter, fish the water of the Cape or visit Thursday Ssland.

Please Note: There is a $1000.00 bond for the hire bike and you must have a current motorcycle licence

A holding deposit of 20% is required for all bookings. Balance of cost is to be paid prior to departure of tour. Tour prices subject to change without notice.

These tours include fishing and riding areas that not many people have the opportunity to visit. All motorcycle adventure tours include:

An AU$1000.00 per person bond is payable that will be refunded upon safe return of the motorcycle.

All riders must have a current motorcycle licence and motorcycles must be registered. Riders are responsible for their own accident insurance and sign a indemnity agreement before the start of a tour.

What to Bring

It is recommended that you bring and wear appropriate motorcycle gear at all times

  • Sturdy trousers (Nylon Motorcycle pants or jeans)
  • Motorcycle Boots (Don't forget a couple of pairs of thick socks)
  • Motorcycle Helmet
  • Elbow & Knee Guards
  • Gloves and Goggles


For comfort and assured fit, if you have your own gear please bring it. If not we can supply nylons, boots, helmet, gloves, body armour and goggles

Also bring a backpack for personal items while riding containing:

  • Hat and sunscreen
  • Camera and spare film or memory card
  • Drinking container or camelback (must be 3 litre minimum)


Remember you are in riding gear all day so few other clothes are needed (and there are washing facilities along the way). Space is minimal, so please keep it to a small sports bag size (maximum 45cm square). No Gear Bags Allowed. If in doubt leave it out, but you should bring along:

  • A couple of pairs of shorts and T-shirts.
  • One light sweat shirt and one pair of jeans or trackpants (it can get a bit chilly at night)
  • One pair of sneakers or thongs.
  • A towel and toiletries
  • Swimwear
  • Small torch
  • Money for souvenirs and entertainment along the way
  • Spare socks
  • Bedding is supplied.
Bikes

All hire bikes are purchased at the beginning of each year; so are current models with our modifications to suit the conditions. Current bike models include, Suzuki DRZ 400 2006 models fitted with electric start, quality bars and Bark Busters.

All bikes are fastidiously maintained and replaced annually so you always have the latest models.

All prices quoted include motorcycle hire. There is a $1000.00 cash bond for the hire bikes and this will be refunded upon safe return of the bike.
